I am so thankful that God provides! This process has been far more emotional than I ever anticipated and I am thankful that God has given us good friends to laugh and cry with.I am thankful that my kids are doing well with my sis!
(in Africa it is Thankful Tuesday - not Thursday - haha - jk)

ReplyDeleteThis picture make it look so . . . charming, I guess. There is that side to Uganda! But yeah, there's the emotional side, too. I'm sure that when you get home, you will feel like you never can quite convey what it is like to someone who has not been there, who has never been through what you are dealing with right now. Thankful that God is providing you with moments like this. Love you! Keep posting!

ReplyDeleteWe are such terrible friends. I just now looked at your blog in about a month and wow you guys have been busy!! We are so happy for you and especially Issaih. I can't imagine how long he has cried himself to sleep wanting a mommy & daddy. Yep- tearing up too. We both are praying this is a quick process and that you all can come home soon. You are two amazing people completely being God's diciples. Keep it up, it doesn't sound easy, but know we are all praying and excited for you. Take care and be safe.

ReplyDeleteI remember sitting with the Go Team just a few months ago in that exact spot....remembering the day, laughing...and freaking out about the {HUGE!} spiders in the ceiling! Amazing times!
