Day 2

Today I am thankful for:

The Lord Who Provides

Psalm 68:9-11

English Standard Version (ESV)
9 Rain in abundance, O God, you shed abroad;
   you restored your inheritance as it languished;
10your flock[a] found a dwelling in it;
   in your goodness, O God, you provided for the needy. 11The Lord gives the word;

  1. Yes, He is the Provider! God was first called Jehovah Jireh by Abraham because God provided an animal sacrifice instead of Isaac. So God is the Provider of our Sacrifice, the only perfect Sacrifice, who is all we need (and all we have!). When I ask God to provide my “needs,” I must remember that He has already provided everything I could ever need for all eternity in his Son. So, so grateful!

    Thankyou for reminding me to be thankful. Love you, Shauna!

Love to hear from you!
