Clap your hands all you people!!!!!! For we have seen the hand of God!!!!!!!!!
What ?
Oh yes.
Neuro. Dr. surprised us with a phone call this a.m.
This is what he said:
After review of the 2 MRI scans - the first being May 2nd and the second being May 18th - there is a SIGNIFICANT and OBVIOUS decrease in the pituitary thickening and pituitary gland itself.
You see, what I have not made public was, that when we went into the Neurosurgeon the first time he said nothing of an adenoma, nothing - he showed and explained to us that the pituitary stalk was "thickened" and there was also a bump on the pituitary gland. We were down to 3 diagnosis. 1 being cancer-like, another being inflammation acting and another being cancer (really big word that I will spare you with). The cancer-like was ruled out the next day with the blood Dr. and we were down to the other two.
You can imagine the horror to hear that kind of thing and we have spent much of our time just releasing our burden to God knowing that it is HIM who is faithful no matter what our circumstance. BUT you better believe we were asking for a miracle - and I do believe about an hour ago our faith was seen.
At this time "with the decrease being obvious in such a short time" he can not recommend us for biopsy.
That's right NO BRAIN SURGERY AT THIS TIME.
We are scheduled for an MRI in a month and probably more to come but that is just AOK with me - we can look at his brain (from the outside) all the day long, AMEN?
OK people. TODAY WE PRAISE!
The world can resume spinning again.
Yay! Awesome news and been thinking of you:) Continued prayers for complete healing!
ReplyDeleteAll glory to God!!!
ReplyDelete2 Chronicles 7:3b- and they worshipped and gave thanks to the Lord saying, " He is GOOD, His LOVE endures FOREVER!!!" Amen!

Abby, Clint & Peycen
Amen sister, I am rejoicing, oh my goodness, we are witnessing a miracle right before our eyes. Thank you Jesus!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch fantastic news! Praising God, and continuing to pray. What does the mean for the DI are those symptoms fading too? I will continue to pray perfect health. Amen!!
ReplyDeleteNo, the posterior of the pituitary gland is still "asleep" and may or not wake up as it reduces. What he said is there is clearly no "bright spot" which means no hormone being produced [yet ;)]. Thank you for praying and reaching out to me Cheryl!
DeleteI know we have been told that Joel will have endocrine issues, he will most likely need growth hormones and others to help through puberty etc. I am glad they can give hormones yet at the same time I desire his body to work correctly so that he does not need them. I will pray for Dawson that it 'wakes up' and does as it should. I have prayed Psalm 62:6-7 Over my boys since they were little babes (I don't know why but I have prayed it more for my boys than my girls) I guess I have often thought about them as men and standing firm in their faith as they lead their families, and not being shaken by all that this world will through at them. I had know idea that my little guy at 4 would be put through such a test but even though he has many challenges ahead of him, he has not been shaken! "He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge." As I pray this for my boys I will pray for your sweet Dawson!
